This is a standalone course, but it is strongly recommended that attendees have undertaken Module 1 training as this provides all the underpinning knowledge for MRD. Experienced ILS Practitioners may elect to do the course without doing Module 1, but may experience difficulty with terminology during the MRD course. The target audience for this module includes the following broad categories of personnel:
  • design and through life support engineering staff
  • maintenance engineering staff
  • spares managers and spares estimators
  • project officers/managers
  • ILS Practitioners
  • Data Specialists
  • Project Data Management Personnel responsible for data entry into an LSAR or for system maintenance and management of an LSAR Data System. This does not mean that it has to be a formal LSAR Software Application as smaller projects may elect not to use LSAR Software, but wish to use the data in an LSAR/Defence compliant format.
