The purpose of the Integrated Logistic Support
Course (ILS) is to enable the supervisory, managerial, project
staff and support personnel to better understand and deliver the
specific and precise ILS requirements for each deliverable.
This training delivers the theory and practical
application of ILS at a number of levels and is intended to reveal
the various facets of the ILS disciplines as practiced by
Australian Industry, defence organisations and as required as part
of the product deliveries from your company.
This training is designed to demonstrate all of
the considerations for ILS as applied in a complex and demanding
environment such as is common in operational circumstances.
This covers the entire spectrum of:
-
design
-
pre-production
- initial
production
-
trial
-
introduction into service
- through
life support and sustainment activities (in service)
- mid life
review / overhaul
- major
modification
-
supercession
-
disposal
This view point then allows the participants to
practice the skills involved, examine the science and discuss with
the other members of the group(s), the key products and their
relationship to the ILS elements and the clients
expectations.
